Qlik Sense is an innovative, comprehensive, immediate, open Business Discovery product that enables you to:
- navigate data (do data surfing) in a simple and interactive way
- build interactive analyses instantly - with complex calculations
- use advanced charts and objects for building Enterprise Performance Management systems (dashboards for analyzing business Key Performance Indicators)
- process large masses of data by simplifying ETL (Extraction, Transformation and Loading) steps by acquiring data from any source (text files, XML, Excel files, Data base, etc.. )
Qlik's powerful analytical and business intelligence engine uses a patented technology called QIX (Associative Data Indexing) to build a non-relational but associative, memory-resident database with high compression efficiency. (The volume of data, optimized after loading into Qlik, is reduced by between 10 percent and 30 percent compared to that of the original data.)
