Jedox is enterprise performance management (EPM) software that is used for planning, analysis, and reporting. At its core is an in-memory cell-oriented, multidimensional OLAP database that is specially designed for planning and forecasting, and data consolidation.

The Jedox solution offers powerful native integration with Excel in addition to Jedox Web and mobile applications. A planning project requires great care regarding the budgeting process. Consolidated data should be read from a Business Intelligence system (if available) to ensure users that their analysis starts from the same source they already know and use every day. Different types of users should be involved during planning based on different stages of the process, and multiple levels of approval should be provided. Then the input data should go back to the BI systems to enhance and integrate dashboards and reports.
